I’m currently a senior at the University of Connecticut. This coming May (2016) I will graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Along with a Family Life Education Certification (NCFR Certified). I have a wide range of experience working with children and families. I have been employed through West Hartford Public School systems working in their Special Education department as a Teacher Assistant in Elementary School (second grade, specializing in Autism). Additionally I have worked one-on-one as a Job Coach at the West Hartford WAAVE program (Applied Academic & Vocational Experience) helping high school students and young adults with Down Syndrome in job placement. Additionally, I have volunteered in a UU church as an RE assistant, and dance teacher. In my free time I enjoy being with my friends and family, and taking walks with my dog, Nina! I love singing, music, acting, and playing the piano.
